Good and Cheap: Eat Well on $4/Day. “It really bothered me,” she said. “The 47 million people on food stamps — and that’s a big chunk of the population — don’t have the same choices everyone else does.”

Seeing these things and feeling those feelings she went about and created what has become  a continuing WIP to assist, lend her enormous talents to demonstrating how anyone can not only eat well on a very limited budget but also thrive. She is, as stated on her blog, “…a food-studies scholar and avid home cook in NYC, by way of Canada. I think everyone should eat great food every day. Eating well means learning to cook. It means banishing the mindset that preparing daily meals is a huge chore or takes tremendous skill. Cooking is easy — you just have to practice.”
